Rehab Reach is a service designed to help wildlife rehabbers and centers manage animal care, coordinate volunteers, and facilitate community support.
Data we collect and store:

- Animal profiles and photos (for care tracking only)
- Care records and health information
- Feeding schedules and care notes
- Volunteer contact information
- Foster and transport coordination data
- Community chat messages
- Subscription and payment information (processed by payment providers)
Data we do NOT collect:
- Browsing history outside the app
- Location data (unless you manually enter addresses for transport coordination)
- Device identifiers beyond what's necessary for authentication
- Any data unrelated to wildlife rehabilitation
- Personal information beyond what's necessary for account management
Photo Uploads and Animal Data
We allow photo uploads solely to display animals in our "animals in care" feature to help with identification and care coordination. We do not view, analyze, share, or use any uploaded photos or animal data for any purpose other than providing our wildlife rehabilitation management service.
Data Storage and Security
Cloud Storage
- Primary Storage: Data is encrypted and stored securely on cloud servers
- Device Storage: Local copies are cached on your device for offline access
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption
Device Backups
- iOS: Your app data may be included in iCloud backups if enabled, governed by Apple's privacy policy
- Android: Your app data may be included in backup services you have enabled, governed by those services' privacy policies
Data Sharing and Use
We do not share, sell, or use your wildlife rehabilitation data for advertising, analytics, or any commercial purposes beyond providing our wildlife care management service.
Limited data sharing only occurs when:
- You explicitly choose to share records via the app's sharing features
- Required by law or to protect our rights (we would notify you unless prohibited by law)
- You provide explicit consent for a specific purpose
- Necessary to provide technical support (with your permission)
Communications and Notifications
- Local Notifications: Generated on your device for care reminders and schedule alerts
- Push Notifications: Cloud-based notifications for urgent care needs and coordination
- Email Notifications: Account-related communications only (you can opt out of non-essential emails)
- Community Features: In-app messaging for volunteer and foster coordination
Your Rights and Control
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data we have about you and the animals in your care
- Correct: Update or modify your information at any time through the app
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Data Retention
- Active Accounts: Your data is retained as long as your account is active
- Cancelled Accounts: After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, then permanently deleted
- Account Deletion: When you request account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days
- Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data longer if required by law

Rehab Reach is intended for wildlife rehabilitation professionals, volunteers, and centers. It is not directed at children under 13.
